Vanja has been sewing, knitting and crocheting since childhood, getting more and more active after her retirement. Playing with different colours and patterns, she creates hats, caps and various clothing items for children and adults. She received an award for the best handicraft creation in 2014 from the Association of Pensioners of Danilovgrad. She also writes poetry.
